At the end of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, we will take a look at basketball shoe statistics. During these Playoffs players have chosen more than 100 different basketball sneakers. We want to share the results with you.
2021 NBA Playoffs players chose between 135 different models of basketball shoes. As usual this season, the Nike Kobe models were the most popular choice among NBA players. Nike Kobe V became the most popular shoes and has been chosen 176 times. Not so far behind, there is another Kobe model – Nike Kobe 6 (172 times NBA players chose to play with them). In the third place was Kevin Durant’s signature shoe - Nike KD 13 selected 127 times.

Another important statistic is how much time players spend on NBA court, with specific sneaker models during these Playoffs. And again, Nike Kobe models were at the top in this category. The most popular sneaker by minutes played was Nike Kobe 6 – players spend 3828 minutes wearing on the court (more than 60 hours). While Nike Kobe V players played with them 3006 minutes, about 50 hours. And in the third place was Nike KD 13 model which were observed 2386 minutes in total (almost 40 hours).

The next category that is one of the most interesting among basketball fans – points scored statistics. The most popular basketball shoes by points scored was Nike Kobe 6 model, players scored 1689 points wearing them on the court. In the second place was Nike Kobe V (players scored 1248 points with them) and in the third place was Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature basketball shoe – Nike Zoom Freak 2, NBA players scored 838 points wearing them.
